Sch. ad loc.) expld. it (1 ) from γλήνεα (Il.24.192), = ἀξιοθέατα, or (2) = τρίκοκκα, i. e. with three berry-shaped ornaments, or (3) = ἐκ τριῶν ζῳδίων συγκείμενα, or (4) = τριόφθαλμα, like [dialect] Att. τριοττίδες; and in other ways.
